BIMM University in the United Kingdom is seeking an Information Governance & Compliance Manager to lead information governance, data protection and regulatory compliance. You will act as the University's designated Data Protection Officer, guiding policy, assurance and governance across the institution.

Based across BIMM University's UK campuses, the role focuses on risk identification, incident management, records retention, and training to strengthen information governance.

Qualificações

• Significant experience leading information governance, data protection or compliance in a complex organisation.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders and influencing governance decisions.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA 2018, FOI, EIR and related regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead information governance and data protection framework ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Act as Data Protection Officer, providing advice to senior leaders.
• Develop and maintain policies and governance frameworks.
• Monitor compliance, identify risks and lead mitigations.
• Support records management, retention and disposal practices.
• Deliver training and awareness across the University.
• Provide input into projects ensuring governance is embedded.
