The Team

The Role

To achieve our ambitions, we’re hiring a Data Product Owner to support and drive our client focus.

This is an excellent opportunity for a product owner with a background in data and analytics to make their mark within an established team of consultants, with opportunities for career development across a varied and dynamic client base.

Our team and clients love using data to solve problems! You’ll have 5+ years of experience in product design across data roles such as engineering, analytics, or data visualisation. You will enforce a product-led mentality in our deliveries, innovation, and approach to client satisfaction and quality.

The data product owner works alongside a delivery lead and a technical solution lead to ensure solutions align with the client’s strategy and vision. You will be the key link between business stakeholders and the development team, translating needs into user stories and managing a product backlog to deliver value.

You will

• Assist clients in developing and articulating a clear vision
• Manage roadmaps aligned with business objectives, focusing on quality of delivery
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs, gather requirements, and prioritize
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap based on strategic direction
• Balance multiple requirements, technical complexities, and business problems
• Use data to measure team velocity, efficiency, and progress
• Strategise opportunities for clients through data analysis
• Apply a product mindset to data solutions, focusing on user needs and value delivery

A bit about you

• A strong understanding of business needs and data maximisation solutions
• Experience with digital or data initiatives as a Product Owner, managing full lifecycle
• Familiarity with data architecture, engineering, analytics, modelling, visualisation, and governance
• Hands-on SQL experience for analysis and investigations
• Experience with product owner tools: backlog management, road mapping, prototyping
• Passion for data, with knowledge of warehousing and dimensional modelling as a plus
