VIQU IT Recruitment partnered with a global organisation to hire a Data Product Manager in Solihull to lead the data and insight function through a major shift from reporting to governed, AI-ready data products.

You'll own the data product roadmap, lead analysts and BI Developers, and ensure AI readiness and data governance across the organization. This on-site role offers £65,000-£70,000 plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading adoption and deployment of data analytics tools enterprise-wide.
• Hands-on with data technologies like Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau.
• Experience using AI tools in an analytical context.
• Familiar with data governance, quality and security practices.
• Strong stakeholder and business partnering skills.
• Track record of driving data adoption and data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and lifecycle for certified data products (datasets, dashboards, semantic models and AI-enabled features).
• Leverage data for insight generation and decision-making.
• Ensure AI readiness by restricting AI tool access to trusted data and disclosing quality tiers in AI outputs.
• Line-manage a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers.
• Translate business needs into clear specifications, and embed data products into decision-making.
• Drive data literacy and adoption across the organisation.
• Occasionally act as a business analyst bridging non-technical and technical stakeholders.

Data Product Manager

Solihull (5 days a week on site)

£65,000 - £70,000 + excellent benefits

VIQU has partnered with a global organisation to hire a Data Product Manager to lead their Data and Insight function through a major shift; from reporting and dashboards to governed, AI-ready data products.

The organisation is preparing to launch its AI Strategy, and so require an individual to own their data product roadmap. You'll lead a team of analysts and BI developers, act as the bridge between technical delivery and business stakeholders whilst enforcing a federated, data-mesh style operating model.

Duties of the Data Product Manager

• Own the roadmap and lifecycle for certified data products eg: datasets, dashboards, semantic models and AI-enabled features.
• Leverage data for insight generation and decision-making.
• Ensure the organisation is "AI ready", by ensuring AI tools only access trusted data, and that quality tier is disclosed in AI outputs.
• Line manage a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers.
• Translating business needs into clear specifications, and embedding data products into decision-making.
• Driving data literacy and adoption across the organisation.
• Occasionally act as a business analyst, helping to bridge the gap between non technical and technical stakeholders.
