Job summary

Smart is seeking a Risk Analyst to drive privacy operations and protect personal data across the business. You will run day-to-day privacy tasks, coordinate data subject rights, log incidents and maintain DPIA registers, while supporting audits and reporting.

The role requires organisational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Interest in data protection and privacy; training provided.
• Awareness of UK GDPR concepts.
• Experience in privacy, risk, compliance, or admin role.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the privacy inbox and triage queries.
• Coordinate data subject rights end-to-end.
• Log privacy incidents and track remediation.
• Maintain privacy registers and DPIA records.
• Support the DPIA process and project work.
• Assist with privacy notices and training.
• Coordinate with outsourced privacy consultants.
• Gather evidence for audits and client requests.
• Prepare data for periodic privacy reporting.
