Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Data Privacy Manager for a three-month contract in Keynsham, Bristol, offering a hybrid/remote setup. You will support the GDPR uplift programme, lead DPIAs, manage DSAR workflows, and maintain RoPA, working with legal, IT, security and operations to apply UK GDPR and ICO guidance.

The role requires hands-on data privacy experience and strong knowledge of UK GDPR; CIPP/E or CIPT is desirable. If you have experience with privacy tooling like OneTrust, you're a fit.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on data privacy / data protection experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR.
  • Experience supporting privacy uplift or compliance programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of a GDPR and data privacy uplift programme.
  • Lead and contribute to DPIAs, data risk assessments, and remediation actions.
  • Manage and support SARs / DSARs and associated workflows.
  • Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
  • Support privacy incident and breach management where required.
  • Work closely with legal, IT, security, and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure practical application of UK GDPR and ICO guidance.
  • Contribute to policies, procedures, and privacy-by-design approaches.

Day Rate: £285 per day

IR35: Inside IR35

Location: Keynsham, Bristol (hybrid / remote offering)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of a GDPR and data privacy uplift programme
