DGH Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Data Platform Manager to lead the strategy, delivery and ongoing operation of a modern enterprise data platform. This hands-on leadership role enables data-driven decision making, advanced analytics, AI, and BI across a large organisation.

The role focuses on owning the end-to-end roadmap, overseeing ingestion, storage, transformation and analytics, and ensuring governance, security and platform performance.

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing operation of a modern enterprise data platform. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for enabling data-driven decision making, advanced analytics, AI, and business intelligence capabilities across a large, complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the end-to-end data platform roadmap.
• Lead the design, delivery, and operation of data platform services.
• Oversee data ingestion, storage, transformation, analytics, and machine learning capabilities.
• Drive the adoption of AI, advanced analytics, and data science within a governed environment.
• Ensure strong data governance, security, quality, compliance, and platform performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Manage platform scalability, operational support, vendor relationships, and capability development.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing enterprise data platforms through design, implementation, and operational support.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and modern Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with data engineering, reporting, semantic models, and enterprise data flows.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, security, RBAC, and compliance controls.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and platform operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience balancing performance, scalability, and cost optimisation.
