Job summary

Sedex is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to steer engineering within the data platform and data products of our SaaS business. You will lead a small cross-functional data pod building pipelines, models and services that turn supply chain data into customer-facing insight.

This role blends hands-on data engineering with technical leadership and architectural ownership. You will line-manage your pod's engineers, support their growth, and set engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in senior data engineering roles.
• Strong Python and SQL for building pipelines and data services.
• Experience with Snowflake and data modeling.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a data pod to design pipelines, models, and services.
• Own data quality contracts and governance for stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and manage performance and growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics and UX in solutioning.
• Drive architectural reviews and cost-aware, scalable solutions.
