Job summary

MAC Recruit Group Ltd is seeking an Engineering Manager (Data) in Glasgow to lead a modern data platform strategy and delivery efforts. You will drive data pipelines, governance, and security while mentoring a team of engineers in a hybrid, on-site setting.

You will work across ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption layers, partnering with product and architecture to deliver data-as-a-product capabilities and ensure scalable, compliant data solutions for analytics and AI.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data engineering teams and delivering data platform solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise with modern data platforms and cloud services.
• Excellent knowledge of data governance, security and multi-tenant architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of a modern data platform supporting analytics and AI initiatives.
• Set engineering standards, review designs, and mentor data engineers.
• Collaborate with product and architecture teams to deliver data-as-a-product capabilities.
