Job summary

ed Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Data Platform Engineer in London to manage and evolve a Snowflake/Azure data platform. You will build self-service capabilities, automate provisioning and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

The role emphasizes hands-on Terraform/IaC work, DevOps practices and collaboration across engineering teams. You will work with Data Factory, Storage/Data Lake and emerging AI services, driving reliability and standards within a proactive platform

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Platform/Cloud/Data Platform engineering or similar.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC implementation experience.
• Strong Azure experience and data services knowledge (Data Factory, Storage/Data Lake).
• Snowflake platform experience required, ideally managing the platform itself.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve the Snowflake/data platform ecosystem.
• Build self-service capabilities for engineering and data teams.
• Design and maintain Terraform IaC for platforms.
• Automate provisioning of platforms and processes.
• Create/maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Leverage Azure data services like Data Factory and Data Lake.
• Improve reliability, monitoring, observability of the platform.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and data teams to raise standards.
