Capital on Tap is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team in London, blending data engineering from ingestion to consumption. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and Snowflake-based data platforms, with Python and SQL driving automation and performance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Data Science and Analytics Engineering to deliver high-impact data solutions, implement CI/CD with GitHub, and ensure data quality and observability across the

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer designing and maintaining scalable data platforms.
• Deep experience with Snowflake including dynamic data masking and row-level security.
• Strong Python skills for data engineering and automation.
• Strong SQL with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and collaborative development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using Python.
• Manage data platforms leveraging Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.
• Own data flow and security in Snowflake for global operations.
