Job summary

GetGround is seeking a Data Engineer in London (Waterloo) with hybrid work requiring three days in the office. You will own the data platform that powers GetGround’s intelligence layer and shape how we ingest, structure, curate and serve data for investors and products.

You’ll work with engineering, product and domain experts to turn regulatory guidance and documents into reliable, queryable data while planning scalable, international expansion and robust data governance.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals with practical experience in orchestration, testing, deployment and operating reliable pipelines.
• Ability to design and operate production data platforms or major parts of them.
• Judgment about data quality, provenance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own data as a product and determine data needs for customers and AI agents.
• Build ingestion pipelines beyond APIs for structured datasets, documents and regulatory guidance.
• Structure and serve data so products and AI agents can access correct facts with provenance.
• Design for international expansion and shared ingestion patterns across geographies.
• Instrument reliability across ingestion, transformation, storage and serving and address root causes.
