Job description

Oliver Bernard is currently working with a consultancy client seeking an experienced Data Platform / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SageMaker on AWS for a Data / ML focused project.

The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team comprising Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, requiring prior collaboration experience with such teams.

Requirements include:

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and AWS Services
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
• Previous project experience with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks is essential
• Knowledge of and experience working in MLOps environments

This role offers £600-700 per day, inside IR35, initially for 3 months, with a remote work model available for UK-based candidates.
