Job Description:

Oliver Bernard is currently working with a consultancy client who is seeking an experienced Data Platform / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in SageMaker on AWS, for a Data/ML-focused project.

The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team comprising Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists. Prior collaboration with such teams is essential.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and AWS Services
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
• Previous project experience with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks is critical
• Knowledge of and experience in MLOps environments

This role offers £600-700 per day, inside IR35, for an initial 3-month contract, with remote work options available for UK-based candidates.
