Job summary

The Law Society is seeking a Data Officer to join its Data and AI team at an exciting stage of our data transformation journey. You will help improve data quality, accessibility and integrity across the organisation, serving as a central point for data quality queries.

Working with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders, you will embed data governance, enable confident data access, and turn complex datasets into clear insights and reports, using SQL, Python and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience improving data quality and resolving issues across multiple systems.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate findings into insights.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and data quality activities.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage and data lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Improve data quality and data accessibility across the organisation.
• Act as central contact for data quality queries; identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to embed data governance.
