Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data modelling and database design.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server and Snowflake data modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience in data architecture principles and data governance.
• Solid understanding of Insurance domain concepts (Specialized Insurance, London Market, Regulatory Data).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document the current data model in SQL Server for customer data and analytics.
• Design and implement new data models or modify existing ones for Snowflake.
• Ensure models adhere to best practices for normalization, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement models effectively.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into logical and physical data models.
• Provide impact analysis for changes to existing models and propose efficient solutions.
• Apply knowledge of Insurance domain, including Specialized Insurance and London Market practices.
• Ensure data models align with regulatory guidelines and governance standards.
