Job summary

You will collaborate with Business Analysts, translate requirements into logical and physical models, ensure governance, and mentor junior data modelers while aligning with London Market and regulatory data standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data modeling and database design experience.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling and scalable architectures.
• Knowledge of Insurance domain, London Market practices, and regulatory data requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data governance and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current data models in SQL Server for customer data and analytics.
• Design and implement new data models for Snowflake.
• Ensure normalization, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers and Business Analysts to translate requirements.
• Provide impact analysis for model changes and propose efficient solutions.
• Mentor junior data modelers and contribute to governance initiatives.
