Job summary

Mastek is seeking an experienced Data Modeller to lead data modelling across investment banking and capital markets. The role focuses on designing robust, scalable data models for trading, risk, settlements, collateral, reference data and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Modelling experience.
• Strong expertise in Logical & Physical Data Modelling.
• Investment Banking / Capital Markets domain knowledge.
• Experience with Trading, Risk, Settlements, Collateral & Regulatory Reporting data.
• Hands-on experience with ERwin, PowerDesigner, ER/Studio or similar tools.
• Strong SQL and data warehouse modelling expertise.
• Ability to engage effectively with business and technology stakeholders.

Job description

Are you an experienced Data Modeller with a strong background in Investment Banking and Capital Markets?

We are looking for a hands-on data modelling specialist to support complex data initiatives across trading, risk, settlements, collateral, reference data, and regulatory reporting. This is a modelling-focused role for someone who enjoys working closely with business SMEs and technical teams to design robust and scalable data solutions.

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Data Modelling experience
• Strong expertise in Logical & Physical Data Modelling
• Investment Banking / Capital Markets domain knowledge
• Experience with Trading, Risk, Settlements, Collateral & Regulatory Reporting data
• Hands-on experience with ERwin, PowerDesigner, ER/Studio or similar tools
• Strong SQL and data warehouse modelling expertise
• Ability to engage effectively with business and technology stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata & Data Lineage
• Exposure to regulatory programmes such as BCBS 239, FRTB, or MiFID
