Job summary

Langham Recruitment in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst to join a major COINS ERP implementation. You will cleanse, map, migrate and validate data ahead of go-live, working with Finance, Commercial and Operational stakeholders to ensure data quality across the new platform.

You will enable successful data migrations across multiple source systems, use Excel, SQL and Power BI for validation, and support SIT/UAT, cutover planning and go-live readiness in a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data migration activities within ERP programmes.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience using SQL and data warehousing technologies.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI.

Edinburgh Based Programme | Flexible Hybrid Working

We're supporting a major UK construction and property organisation delivering a large-scale COINS ERP implementation and are looking for an experienced Data Migration Analyst to join the programme.

This is a key role within the ERP transformation team, focused on ensuring business-critical data is successfully cleansed, mapped, migrated and validated ahead of go-live. You'll work closely with Finance, Commercial and Operational stakeholders, supporting the delivery of high-quality data across the new COINS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data extraction, cleansing, mapping and migration activities.
• Analyse and validate data from multiple source systems.
• Work with business stakeholders to define migration requirements and resolve data quality issues.
• Execute data testing, reconciliation and validation activities.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with migration rehearsals, cutover planning and go-live readiness.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues during deployment and post-implementation.
• Support users and stakeholders throughout the transition to the new ERP platform.
• Previous experience delivering data migration activities within ERP programmes.
• Strong experience of data extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation and reconciliation.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover and deployment activities.
• Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• COINS ERP experience.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of Finance, Commercial or Operational business processes.
• Experience using SQL, reporting tools or data warehousing technologies.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Power BI.

Industry Experience

Experience within construction, housebuilding, property, infrastructure or engineering environments would be advantageous.
