Job summary

Astrum Search Ltd. is supporting a major UK organisation in Birmingham to appoint a Data, MI & Assurance Manager within a Finance transformation programme.

The role builds a data/MI capability for Balance Sheet Assurance, expanding into Finance Governance, Risk & Control, and wider Finance Transformation. You will lead analytics, reporting and data structures, delivering executive dashboards and driving automation while managing a Data & MI Analyst.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong balance sheet accounting, financial reporting and GL knowledge.
• Finance MI, reporting, analytics and data modelling experience.
• Advanced Power BI and Excel capabilities.
• Experience improving reporting through automation and process improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience across data governance, Finance Transformation, controls or assurance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data, reporting and analytics workstream for Balance Sheet Assurance.

Astrum Search is delighted to be supporting a major UK organisation with the appointment of a Data, MI & Assurance Manager within a significant Finance transformation programme.

This is a newly established role with responsibility for building the data, management information, analytics and assurance capability supporting a major transformation programme. Initially focused on Balance Sheet Assurance, the remit will expand across Finance Governance, Risk & Control, Financial Control, SOX readiness and wider Finance Transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the data, reporting and analytics workstream for Balance Sheet Assurance
