Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Marketing Executive to join our marketing team, with a particular focus on crafting clear marketing workflows, managing clean and segmented data, and guiding highly engaged leads through the sales pipeline.
You’ll work with Zymplify for campaign automation, OpenCRM for database management, and WordPress to maintain and update audience-targeted blog content.
Our marketing model centres around specification-led sales, meaning leads are highly engaged — your role is critical in helping nurture them with visually appealing, insightful campaigns aimed at architects and specifiers.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Creation and Automation
Build clear and effective marketing workflows and nurture sequences using Zymplify.
Set up and manage automated pipelines that guide leads through awareness, engagement, and conversion stages.
Monitor and optimise workflows to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
Data Management and Segmentation
Maintain, cleanse, and enrich CRM data within OpenCRM.
Create dynamic segments and audiences based on project needs, behaviours, and profiles.
Ensure workflows are triggered accurately by well-managed, up-to-date CRM data.
Email Marketing and Campaign Management
Plan, build, and deliver email marketing campaigns that are visually appealing, relevant, and timed to support specification-driven sales.
Tailor content to architects, specifiers, and key decision-makers, using segmentation and personalisation strategies.
Deliver lead nurturing campaigns aligned with pipeline stages.
Content and Blog Management
Update and create new blog articles on WordPress that are targeted toward the interests and needs of architects and specifiers.
Optimise content for SEO and lead generation.
Work closely with the content and design teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and style.
Performance Reporting and Optimisation
Track and report on key metrics across email, workflows, and website content.
Conduct A/B testing and provide insights to improve future campaigns.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Strong experience in creating marketing workflows and automation journeys.
Proficient with Zymplify (or similar platforms) and CRM systems.
Confident managing and cleansing CRM data to support segmentation and automation.
Experience delivering email marketing campaigns to B2B audiences.
Good working knowledge of WordPress for content management and blog updates.
Ability to create visually engaging email templates and landing pages.
Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy regulations.
Desirable:
Good working knowledge of marketing automation integrations and CRM workflows.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
Experience with Power BI or other data reporting and visualisation tools.
Strong SEO knowledge and experience optimising blog content.
B2B marketing experience targeting architects, specifiers, or the construction sector.

Qualifications
