As we pursue our growth strategy, we are seeking a Senior Data Migration Specialist to join our Group IT Applications team at Cowick on a temporary basis, either as a 12-month fixed-term or a 6-month rolling contract.

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across Product Stewardship, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and IT to support projects related to migrating Raw Material & Product Data into a new Product Information Management System – censhare PIM.

• Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably in PIM, DAM, or ERP implementations.
• Strong expertise in ETL tools (like Talend) and data transformation techniques (JSON, XML).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for automation.
• Knowledge of metadata structures, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Excel, and Access data extraction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with API integration and data mapping is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with censhare PIM or similar systems is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data migration and storage solutions is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with regulatory or product information data management is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices is desirable but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Senior Data Migration Specialist will lead the strategy and execution for censhare PIM deployment. Responsibilities include designing automated migration processes, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with stakeholders to align migration efforts with business needs.

• Develop and implement the data migration strategy for censhare PIM.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources such as PDF, SharePoint, Excel, and Access.
• Automate migration processes using scripting and integration tools.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders to understand data structures and needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the Data Migration team.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize migration performance.
• Document processes and develop best practices for future projects.
