Job summary

Finlay Jude Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Data Logger Operative (Maintenance) to support essential water network operations across the South West. This hands-on, outdoor role suits independent fieldwork and offers long‑term progression in the water industry.

You will install, maintain and retrieve pressure logging equipment, download data from field devices, read network plans, complete job sheets, and follow SSOW, with occasional night or early-start work.

Qualifications

• Previous logging experience is essential.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic IT skills (Word, Excel).
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Confident lone working and travelling between sites.

The Role

We’re recruiting experienced Data Logger Operatives to support essential water network operations across the South West. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys independent fieldwork and wants long‑term progression in the water industry.

What You Will Do

• Install, maintain, and retrieve pressure logging equipment
• Download/upload data from field devices
• Read and interpret network plans and schematics
• Identify correct fittings for equipment deployment
• Complete job sheets, timesheets, and operational paperwork

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence

• EUSR National Water & Hygiene
• Streetworks
• Confined Space (Medium Risk)
