Job summary

Tarmac, part of CRH, invites applications for a Data Lead to own the data workstream for Project Falcon in the UK. This role drives data governance, migration and readiness across SAP, Salesforce and operational platforms, reporting to programme leadership.

The successful candidate will lead three Data Analysts, shape data ownership and quality, and collaborate with business, technical and supplier teams to deliver a trusted data foundation for the transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data workstreams in large-scale transformations.
• Proven governance, quality, lineage, cataloguing and control frameworks.
• Data migration planning, mapping, cleansing, readiness assessment.
• Managing analysts and coordinating third-party suppliers against deadlines.
• Collaboration with senior stakeholders, architects and integration teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the Falcon data roadmap with milestones and risks.
• Lead a team of three Data Analysts with coaching and oversight.
• Champion data governance and delivery standards throughout the programme.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, standards and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Oversee data discovery, profiling and quality assessments across source systems.
• Govern data mapping, transformation, cleansing and reconciliation for accuracy.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align data requirements with design.
• Plan migration cycles, mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover and hypercare support.
• Report readiness, risks and quality issues to governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement and reusable data governance practices.
