BCL Legal Limited is representing a leading national law firm in Birmingham for a Commercial (Data/IT) Associate/Senior Associate role. The role focuses on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, AI governance and technology transactions, with hybrid working in Birmingham.

You will advise on data processing and international data transfers, draft complex software and outsourcing agreements, and support PECR and digital marketing compliance across a broad client base.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial technology, data protection or privacy matters.
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate tech agreements.
• Clear, practical, solutions‑focused advisory style.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
