A key part of the role will be supporting the development and maintenance of Early Years and Family Hubs datasets within the Insight Hub. You will also contribute to annual impact reporting and work with partners and Information Governance colleagues to establish appropriate data-sharing agreements and ensure information is handled safely and securely.

The role requires flexibility, as you will work across the Strategic Intelligence Service to respond to changing priorities and provide support and cover across different service areas when required.

The Ideal candidate

You will have a relevant qualification or substantial equivalent experience in data, statistics, information management or systems management.

You will also bring:

  • Strong experience of database management, interrogation and data-quality improvement.
  • Substantial experience using reporting software, case management reporting tools or database interrogation tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate, analyse and present complex information.
  • The ability to explain complex data clearly and engagingly through reports, presentations and discussions.
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection, information security and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to organise a demanding workload, meet deadlines and work confidently on your own initiative.
  • A proactive, resilient and solution-focused approach.
