Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking an experienced Data Integrity Officer to support the Housing Regulation and Strategic Services division. The role focuses on ensuring robust data quality within the Housing Revenue Account and aligning with regulatory standards.

This role will provide strategic oversight of housing data, drive data quality improvement, and enable informed decisions through accurate performance reporting for the council’s housing stock and customers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the housing sector, including current legislation, policy, funding, and local and national priorities.
• Excellent research, analytical and reporting skills to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication with the ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic projects that improve the quality of housing, data and insight.
• Oversee the quality, accuracy and integrity of housing data across systems, identifying and resolving data issues.
• Ensure data is consistent, well-managed, and fit for purpose through regular monitoring, analysis, and data cleansing.
• Produce and maintain accurate, accessible performance reports to support service improvement and decision-making.
• Provide leadership for the Data Quality Improvement Plan delivery.
• Ensure strong governance and oversight of data-related projects with boards and steering groups.
