I’m currently working on a Data & Integrations Manager role for a growing organisation that’s going through a pretty significant period of change.

They’re looking for someone who can take ownership of their data and integration environment and help build it into something that will support the business as it continues to grow.

It’s a hands‑on role, so this is not just about setting strategy and passing it on to someone else. You’ll be involved in the architecture, integrations, APIs, data quality and governance, as well as working closely with the wider business.

The main areas you’ll be working across include:

• Data architecture, modelling, warehouses and data lakes
• ETL/ELT and data pipelines
• API and system integrations
• Azure cloud technologies
• Data governance, quality and security
• Integrating HR, Finance and core operational systems
• Working with external suppliers and an IT MSP
• Leading and mentoring a small data team
• Managing data and integration projects from design through to delivery

You’ll need a solid technical background in data and integrations, with good SQL and data modelling experience and ideally strong Azure knowledge.

Experience with platforms such as Databricks, Data Factory, Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi or similar would be useful, as would experience integrating HRIS, ERP or CRM systems.

Just as important, they’re looking for someone who can communicate well with people outside of technology. You’ll be working with senior stakeholders, so being able to explain technical issues in straightforward terms is important.

The business is growing quickly, so there will be plenty to get involved with. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, solving problems and having a real say in how things are built.

Location: Hybrid, with flexibility around remote/on‑site working
