Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join the Group Services IT team in Solihull. You will design and implement data integration solutions, lead governance across master data, and optimise data flows to maximise data value across the business.

The role requires strong ETL, API, and master data management experience, with a focus on collaboration across cross-functional teams and adherence to Galliford Try values.

Qualifications

• Proven technical experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of master data management and data governance principles.
• Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Ability to capture structured business requirements in a structured user story format.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements for solution design.
• Strong experience working with APIs to facilitate integrations.
• Commitment to Galliford Try values and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration solutions aligned with master data management best practices.
• Champion governance across integrations and master data management.
• Monitor and optimise data integrations for performance and efficiency.
• Support master data management implementation across the business.
• Design technical solutions to improve data governance, accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot data integration issues and implement corrective measures.
• Provide guidance to the wider data practitioner network and foster best practices.
• Offer constructive challenge and propose improvements and new opportunities.
