Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join the Data, Analytics and Development team in the IT function at Galliford Try. You will contribute to design, implementation and governance of data integrations across systems, driving master data management and data quality initiatives.

The role focuses on delivering robust data integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams and adhering to central standards.

Qualifications

• Proven technical experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of master data management and data governance principles and approaches.
• Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Ability to capture structured business requirements in a structured user story format.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements to inform a solution design.
• Strong experience working with APIs to facilitate integrations.
• Align with Galliford Try values and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions with master data management best practices.
• Champion governance across integrations and master data management.
• Monitor and optimize data integrations for performance and efficiency.
• Support implementation and management of master data management across the business.
• Design technical solutions to improve data governance, accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot data integration issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to the wider data practitioner network and drive improvements.
