Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Data & Development Engineer in Solihull to join the Data, Analytics and Development team. You will work across the data lifecycle from source connection, ETL, storage, modelling, reporting and AI-enabled analytics.

You will design data pipelines, implement scalable databases, and develop dashboards to enable self-service insights for stakeholders. Strong Microsoft stack experience and collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of database architecture and data modelling.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Experience with Microsoft stack and cloud data services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines from diverse sources into the data platform.
• Develop scalable database architectures for staging and storage.
• Build ETL processes to transform data for reporting and analytics.
• Create interactive dashboards to enable self-service analytics.
• Apply analytics and ML techniques to add value to data.
• Promote standards and best practices across the data practitioner network.
