Job summary

National Gas is recruiting a Data & Insights Graduate to join the Planning & Performance team in the East Region, based mainly in Peterborough. You will gain hands‑on experience creating dashboards, maintaining data quality and supporting decisions with data and digital tools.

You’ll learn through an 18‑month fixed‑term graduate programme, with opportunities to develop technical and professional skills while contributing to projects that improve business performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate or analytical subject (e.g., data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data experience
• Proficiency with Excel or similar tools and a willingness to learn new technologies

Responsibilities

• Create and improve dashboards and reports.
• Review data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain data quality and integrity for business use.
• Support colleagues to use digital tools effectively.
