Job summary

National Gas is recruiting a Data & Insights Graduate for its Scotland & North region. This 18‑month fixed‑term programme gives hands‑on data experience across planning and performance, building reports, dashboards and insights to support decision‑making.

The role spans across engineering, project delivery, safety, finance and more, with a collaborative learning environment. You’ll develop skills in data analysis, BI tooling and stakeholder communication, while contributing to essential energy

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant area (Data/Analytics related).
• Experience analysing data and producing insights from academic, work or projects.
• Interest in data, problem solving and turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Work with data from multiple systems to spot patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop reports, dashboards and insights to inform decisions across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, safety and operations to understand performance.
