Job description

A multi-award-winning, Glasgow-based scale-up has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious data & insights analyst looking to develop and grow alongside a rapidly expanding business.

To put it simply… you’ll be instrumental in turning data into actionable insights, not just reporting numbers, but helping shape brand strategies. We don’t just analyse data; we use it to tell compelling stories that drive real-world impact for our clients. You’ll have a passion for all things data & insights, a positive, vibrant personality and be ready to work hard to achieve new levels of personal and professional growth. We’re looking for a strong communicator with the ability to build great working relationships. You’ll be a good problem solver who can contribute their own ideas for innovation, with an added ability to think analytically and logically and adapt well to change. Crucially, we’re looking for people with a passion for learning and high levels of determination, motivation and drive to succeed.

Your job will be to:

  • Analyse and interrogate client briefs to uncover the real business need, ensuring all insights are aligned to solving actual client problems.
  • Challenge assumptions & dig deeper when liaising with clients and internal teams, showing curiosity to understand the bigger picture.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, anticipating client challenges and turning data into actionable business solutions.
  • Create engaging, high-impact consumer surveys that generate rich, actionable insights.
  • Learn and own the end-to-end research process, from survey design to cleaning & structuring raw data, to final report delivery.
  • Analyse large data sets, applying statistical techniques and predictive modelling to uncover patterns in consumer behaviour.
  • Transform complex data into compelling stories that drive clear business recommendations.
  • Build & deliver client-ready reports and presentations, ensuring they are visually engaging, well-structured, and insight-driven.
  • Optimise internal reporting processes, ensuring insights are delivered faster, smarter, and more efficiently.
  • Maintain best-in-class data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability across all reporting.
  • Uphold compliance standards for contracted deliverables, ensuring insights are delivered on time, to spec, and with high accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (Campaigns, Creative, Tech, and Commercial) to streamline workflows and remove inefficiencies in insight generation.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the team, exploring new ways to collect, process, and visualise data that improve our insights offering.

Skills & experience we’d love to see in you:

  • Intellectually curious, high energy, and strong work ethic
  • A willingness and desire to learn, grow, and move forward
  • A self-starter who has the skill & initiative to take a brief/project from start to finish, meeting all deadlines along the way.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical thinking skill and sound decision-making. Demonstrated ability to solve real-life problems.
  • Knowledge and experience of FMCG industry is great but not essential

You’ll feel right at home if:

  • You are a digitally minded individual who lives and breathes data.
  • You’re ambitious. Working in a rapidly growing business there will be opportunities to prove yourself indispensable and move up the ranks.
  • You aren’t scared to challenge the status quo. A creative out-the-box thinker will fit right in.
