The role in a nutshell
As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will support UNiDAYS' growth by uncovering data trends and making insight-led recommendations to drive business performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to provide robust insights across the business by leading key analytical projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Lead and deliver analytical projects that derive actionable insights supporting business performance.
- Plan and manage insight projects end-to-end, aligned with business value, possibly involving multiple analysts.
- Ensure technical delivery is appropriate and fit for purpose.
- Present findings and recommendations to the business.
- Maintain clear stakeholder communication throughout projects.
- Manage multiple insight projects concurrently.
- Support the development of insight roadmaps within the team.
- Identify opportunities to add value through insights.
- Take ownership of key insight areas, managing workload and stakeholder relationships.
- Lead stakeholder relationships to follow up on projects and implement recommendations.
- Support ad-hoc requests, automating ongoing data needs where possible.
- Contribute to best practices in statistics, coding, visualization, storytelling, QA, and project delivery.
- Promote the team’s work through training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Adhere to Data Governance guidelines, ensuring appropriate data sharing and usage.
What we need from you
Previous experience as an insight analyst, with skills in:
- Delivering actionable insights supporting decision-making across marketing, commercial, product, operational, or strategic areas.
- Transforming business questions into insight briefs.
- Driving and communicating insights from data.
- Developing solutions for data and analytics problems.
- Extracting and integrating data from various sources.
- Applying analytical and statistical techniques, including advanced methods like A/B testing and forecasting.
- Managing projects individually and in teams, planning and delegating effectively.
- Storytelling insights through presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Using data warehouse and BI platforms, creating metrics, reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Defining hypotheses, designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets, with experience in Python/R for advanced analysis.
