The University of Hertfordshire is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Insight Team. The role involves turning large datasets into actionable insights and supporting recruitment and performance analysis through Tableau Prep, Excel and other tools.

You will create forecasts, present findings to varied audiences, and respond to bespoke analytical requests to influence departmental decisions. A numerical degree is required, and UK Right to Work is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in market intelligence/insight roles and challenging assumptions.
• Ability to interpret large data sets and explain findings clearly.
• Proficient in data visualisation tools (Tableau, QlikView, Power BI) and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Analyse data from UCAS, HESA and internal sources to report on trends.
• Develop forecasts and models on applications and acceptances.
• Summarise analytical findings for diverse audiences to inform policy.
