Job summary

Moody's in Manchester seeks a data governance professional to drive the governance, quality and integrity of critical data assets across the Relationships domain, ensuring trusted, well-managed data for business-ready analytics.

You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define data requirements, rules, definitions, and ownership, lead data quality initiatives, and contribute to governance artifacts and master/reference data practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data/information management or related field.
• Experience in data governance, quality, and management disciplines.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and MDM principles.
• Ability to define data controls, metrics, and remediation processes.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive governance, quality, and integrity of critical data assets across the Relationships domain.
• Support governance by defining standards, rules, metadata, and data quality controls.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define data requirements and ownership.
• Lead data quality initiatives with measurement, monitoring, and remediation.
• Develop governance artifacts including glossaries and metadata definitions.
• Support master and reference data management to improve data usability.
