Job summary

BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK is seeking a Data Governance Manager in Solihull to ensure UK GDPR, PECR and BCBS239 compliance, and to drive continuous improvements to maximise the value and income from available data.

The role reports to the Head of Data Governance and will collaborate with Data Owners and stewards to raise data quality and consistency across the business, supporting risk management and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in data governance with knowledge of BCBS239 and GDPR/PECR.
• Extensive knowledge of data architecture and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Assess data quality and perform root cause analysis.
• Support the Data Management framework and data owners/stewards.
• Identify areas for improvement in local data governance practices.
• Contribute to projects delivering business benefit while adhering to governance principles.
