Job summary

DAC Beachcroft LLP in London seeks an experienced Data Governance Lead to establish and continuously enhance our enterprise data governance framework. This is a key leadership role ensuring data accuracy, protection and regulatory compliance across the firm.

You will define standards, policies and controls for data management, supporting analytics, automation and AI initiatives while partnering with the DPO and business owners to embed governance best practices across functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing or improving data governance frameworks in regulated environments.
• Good working knowledge of UK GDPR and practical application.
• Experience with data catalogue, metadata and data lineage tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
• Knowledge of master data management and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of the data governance framework.
• Define and maintain data quality standards, ownership models, metadata and lineage documentation.
• Drive data classification and access control across case management, finance and CRM systems.
• Establish and monitor data quality KPIs and address issues with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, training and governance communications to owners and stewards.
