Job summary

Interface Recruitment is helping a Leeds-based professional financial services organisation recruit a Data Management Officer. The role sits in the Technology and Resilience function, focusing on data governance, data management and supporting BI across the business.

You will translate business needs into data queries, collect and cleanse data, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive governance maturity with training and awareness across colleagues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Data Governance Principles and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into effective queries and analysis.
• Support Head of Technology & Resilience to embed data requirements across the business including regulatory needs.
• Collect, clean and analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Utilise statistical methods to extract insights from diverse data sources.
• Support information handling with regulatory storage, retention and classification.
• Contribute to the Electronic Document Management System with metadata and access controls.
• Promote data governance awareness and training across the business.
• Monitor data systems and evaluate performance for improvements.
• Assist data science tooling to enable BI deployment.
• Collaborate with Data Manager to ensure data governance tooling delivers value.
