Job summary

Premium Credit is seeking a Data Governance Subject Matter Expert in London on hybrid basis. You will lead governance activities, embed standards, and drive data quality improvements across the organisation. The role partners with data architects and stakeholders to deliver practical, business-value-led data governance.

You’ll help reduce data quality risks, improve decision making and enable better customer outcomes through strong governance and data lifecycle practices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality management.
• 1+ year experience in data governance roles preferred.
• Experience partnering with data stewards and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Governance Forum, recording and progressing data quality issues and actions to resolution.
• Partner with data stewards, business analysts and tech teams to diagnose root causes and craft practical solutions.
• Develop and embed governance frameworks, policies and standards focused on business value.
• Define, monitor and communicate meaningful data quality metrics and trends to stakeholders.
• Assess gaps against architecture standards and recommend proportionate resolutions.
• Build relationships across the business to promote data quality ownership and standards.
