Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Data Governance and Delivery Manager to coordinate operational and data governance activities across the EMEA region. You will partner with senior stakeholders to support portfolio tracking, COO reporting, and cross-regional alignment, delivering structured insights on progress, risks and data quality trends.

In this role you will create dashboards, KPIs and governance materials, contribute to regulatory inspections, and influence global data governance

Qualifications

  • Experience in management consulting, data governance, data management or regulatory reporting within financial services.
  • Ability to prepare high quality presentations and written materials for senior audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify region-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Collibra for data analysis or metadata management.
  • Technical experience applying automation and AI-enabled solutions to data governance processes.
  • Strong attention to detail; able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver operational and data governance activities for the Data and AI division across EMEA.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders; support divisional portfolio tracking and COO reporting.
  • Prepare materials, dashboards, KPIs and control analyses for visibility of data risks.
  • Support regulatory inspections and supervisory interactions with data management packs and audit responses.
  • Influence data governance policies and rollout of enterprise tools; remediate issues with cross-functional teams.

As a Data Governance and Delivery Manager, you will coordinate and deliver operational and data governance activities for the Data and AI division across EMEA. Partnering with senior stakeholders, you will support divisional portfolio tracking, COO reporting, communications and cross-regional alignment, providing structured insight into progress, risk themes and data quality trends. Through regular governance forums, you will shape agendas, prepare materials and ensure clear, actionable outcomes that support accountable data ownership. You will also contribute to regulatory inspections and supervisory interactions by preparing data management packs, audit responses and Board-level materials, while influencing global data governance policies and supporting the rollout of enterprise tools by advising on regional requirements. Creating dashboards, KPIs and control analyses, you will enhance visibility of data risks and work closely with Data Offices, Risk, Technology and business teams to ensure issues are identified, analysed and remediated.
