Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Treasury analytics professional to shape capital and liquidity decision-making across EMEA. You will analyse data, forecast and support regulatory processes while collaborating with Group Treasury, Finance and Risk Management to deliver insights across a global organisation.

The role involves transforming complex datasets, enhancing forecasting accuracy and identifying opportunities for innovation in treasury management.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years’ experience in treasury, finance, risk, accounting or related field.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency across MS Office applications.
  • Degree in finance, business, computer science, mathematics or related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to balance priorities.
  • Interest in capital, liquidity and financial markets; experience in treasury, capital or liquidity management, Power BI, Alteryx or programming tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Shape Treasury strategy and contribute to forecasting and regulatory processes.
  • Analyse data and translate insights into tangible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with groups across Group Treasury, Finance and Risk Management.

Join a dynamic Treasury team at the centre of capital and liquidity decision‑making across EMEA. In this role, you will use data, analytics and technology to uncover insights that help shape Treasury strategy and support the organisation’s financial resilience. Working closely with colleagues across Group Treasury, Finance and the Risk Management Group, you will explore complex datasets, enhance forecasting and regulatory processes, and contribute to the delivery of key capital and liquidity initiatives. As regulations and market conditions evolve, you will play an important role in identifying impacts, developing innovative analytical solutions and helping stakeholders make informed decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your Treasury expertise, gain exposure to a wide range of activities and build strong relationships across a global organisation.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.

  • 1-4 years’ experience in treasury, finance, risk, accounting or a related field, with an interest in capital, liquidity and balance sheet management
  • Experience analysing data and translating insights into meaningful outcomes, supported by strong Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work with complex datasets and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • A degree in finance, business, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline, together with experience in financial services or a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively while balancing competing priorities.
  • An interest in capital, liquidity and financial markets; experience in treasury, capital or liquidity management, Power BI, Alteryx or programming tools would be advantageous.
