LGC Ltd is seeking a Data Governance and Cyber Security Manager to shape and maintain governance, data security and compliance across the Grant Management Group (GMG). The role involves ensuring UK GDPR and government standards are met while driving secure, innovative analytics through the BI Hub.
You will collaborate with the DDaT team and information governance to balance policy with progress, deliver contractual outputs, and advance data stewardship across GMG infrastructure.

Job Purpose
The post holder will be instrumental in crafting and maintaining the security, compliance, and governance architecture across the Grant Management Group (GMG). They will also manage all contractual outputs and deliverables. This role includes setting benchmarks for data handling, cybersecurity, and risk mitigation to ensure a secure and reliable data landscape for all deliverables.
Collaborating with the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team, Information Governance, and technical specialists, you will maintain UK GDPR and DHSC standards as well as Government requirements throughout all GMG activities. You will balance rigorous policy compliance with the necessity for innovative progress in artificial intelligence and automated analytics.
This role demands active involvement, playing a key role in encouraging a professional attitude of data stewardship and security-centered development across the GMG infrastructure and all contractual deliverables, with BI HUB as the main focus.
