Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join the Data Office. You will shape and implement a data governance framework ensuring trusted data for key decisions, reporting to the Data Governance Manager.

You will drive data quality, data sourcing, access, and the data glossary/catalogue, while promoting continuous improvement and risk-informed decision making across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data governance, data modelling and data management.
• Ability to document concepts clearly for business and technical audiences.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance initiatives across the organisation.
• Ensure data quality, sourcing and access controls are established.
• Develop data knowledge management, including data glossary and catalogues.
• Provide root-cause analysis and drive measurable data quality improvements.
