Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join the Global Data Governance team. You will ensure data quality across reporting pipelines, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with internal and external teams.

You will drive weekly dashboards, assist with governance projects, and uplift data literacy across the business, working in a hybrid setup with UK-based teams.

Qualifications

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• A methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, or similar languages.
• Comfortable collaborating across time zones with mentorship and support.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
• Exposure to auditing LLM outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly dashboards evaluating datasets for quality and accuracy.
• Drive data cleansing and resolve data quality issues.
• Perform BAU tasks from Data Governance projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot data quality errors.
• Monitor and report progress of data quality improvements.
• Identify areas for process and tool enhancement.
• Engage cross-discipline teams to uplift data literacy and governance.
• Document data processes, standards, and policies.
