About the role

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will support the Data Governance Manager in implementing and maintaining the organisation's data governance framework. Your responsibilities include ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance across various data domains. You will collaborate closely with data owners, data stewards, and IT teams to enforce data governance policies and procedures, and support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and support the organisation's data governance vision, strategy, and roadmap.
2. Support the activation and enforcement of data governance policies.
3. Collaborate with IT, business units, and data owners to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
4. Provide training on data governance principles and policies.
5. Establish governance oversight mechanisms, including reviews and audits.
6. Ensure compliance with data regulations and manage data risks.
7. Assist in leading governance meetings and decision-making processes.

Location and working pattern

Base Location: Reading - Hybrid.

Working Pattern: 36 Hours per week.

Qualifications and experience

• Strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Experience with MDM initiatives.
