Summary of the role

The Data Governance Analyst will work with the Data Governance Manager to design and implement processes, policies, controls, and systems that direct the use of data within the company. They will contribute to building and implementing data governance frameworks ensuring proper data storage, processing, analysis, and retention across the organization.

They will also collaborate with Information Security, Internal Audit, and the DPO office to ensure governance relevance and observability.

• Providing data governance impact analysis
• Supporting metadata management
• Assisting the DG manager on governance issues
• Implementing data quality and management platforms

What we’re looking for

• Solid understanding of data governance concepts
• Strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR
• Experience with UK GDPR and Data Protection regulation
• Experience working in an FCA regulated environment
• Ability to create policies and processes
• Experience in data governance or privacy roles
