Data Entry Clerk - Part-Time, AGI-Data Services

Key job responsibilities
  • Maintain and follow strict confidentiality to protect customer privacy.
  • Work with various data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video.
  • Deliver high-quality labeled data using provided guidelines and in-house tools, supporting Amazon's AI development efforts.
  • Generate high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio.
  • Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Pay close attention to detail and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Support daily operational tasks for multiple projects and teams.
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and suggest improvements to enhance data quality.
  • Identify operational issues in processes and tools, recommending changes to improve workflows.
  • Provide on-floor support to clarify internal queries during task execution.
A day in the life

As a Machine Learning Data Associate (MLDA), your tasks will include foundational labeling functions such as dialogue evaluation across speech, text, audio, and video data. Your focus, concentration, and attention to detail will help you deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Amazon policies. You will be part of a diverse team committed to improving customer lives through innovative generative AI solutions. Creativity, initiative, and a proactive mindset are highly valued.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • CEFR C1+ or equivalent fluency in English
  • Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and professional communication
  • Excellent reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions across various projects
  • Research skills to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • High attention to detail managing complex tasks and documents
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of professional experience demonstrating task execution ability
  • Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
  • 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience (support functions)
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
