Key job responsibilities

1. Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our most important tenet
2. Work with a range of different types of data including, but not limited to: text, speech, audio, image, and video
3. Deliver high-quality labelled data, using provided guidelines to meet KPIs and utilizing in-house tools and software, as part of Amazon's commitment to AI responsibility
4. Demonstrate proficiency in generating high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio
5. Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
6. Pay attention to detail and adapt quickly to changing requirements
7. Support daily operational deliverables for multiple tasks assigned to you and the team
8. Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality
9. Identify process and operational issues, suggest changes to unblock operations
10. Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during execution as needed

A day in the life

We seek a ML Data Associate (MLDA) to undertake foundational labeling functions, such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• An Associate's Degree or related work experience
• CEFR C1 or equivalent fluency in Italian
• Written and spoken English proficiency (CEFR C1)
• Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
• Advanced reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions
• Proficient research skills for gathering and synthesizing information
• Attention to detail in managing complex tasks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2+ years of professional work experience
• Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
• 2-3 years project coordination or management experience
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships
