Spencer Rose Ltd is recruiting a Data Engineering Manager to lead a Snowflake/AWS data platform team in Edinburgh. The role is hybrid, offering leadership across data pipelines, modeling and analytics platforms within a large UK organisation.

You will mentor Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers, drive modern data architectures, champion best practices, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions on Snowflake and AWS.

Formación

• Experience leading Data Engineering teams.
• Strong Snowflake experience.
• Solid AWS knowledge, especially S3 and Lambda.
• Experience with data pipelines, modelling and modern data warehouse architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• dbt experience would be highly advantageous.
• Exposure to Medallion architecture or Machine Learning would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop data engineering teams including data and analytics engineers.
• Oversee scalable data pipelines, platforms and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and senior stakeholders on delivery.
• Develop Snowflake-based data platforms and modern architectures.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Align priorities, resources and expectations across initiatives.
